What payment methods can I use?

 There are currently 2 payments methods used:

  • Mobile Money or Credit/Debit
  • Prepaid (Submit proof of prior payment)

How do I see what payments are due?

When signed in, there is a payment menu item with a ‘submit payment’ tab on it. When clicked, it shows all upcoming and overdue payments which need to be tended to. 

How do I make a bank transfer?

When the mobile Money or Credit/Debit option is selected, a payment gateway interface appears which allows you to tick the option you wish to pay with. The Local Bank Transfer option needs to be selected which then triggers the instructions necessary to complete the payment.

How do I make a credit card payment?

On the same payment gateway interface an option for Debit/Credit/Prepaid Card is available. Once selected an instruction pane appears, requiring you to enter your Visa or MasterCard details, before clicking on the submit button.

How do I make a mobile money payment?

 The MPESA option needs to be selected from the list of available payment options from the payment gateway interface. Once selected, it generates a 7 step instruction, showing the user how to go about making a mobile payment.

Can I make payment from overseas?

Yes, This can be done by means of electronic bank transfer in which the bank details of the Ministry of Mining are available on the invoice page or by means of utilising the Debit/Credit/Prepaid option.

I received an email telling me that my payment was rejected. What do I do now?

Reasons for your payment being rejected would have been provided on the email notification that you have received. Please tend to this first/enquire via the support platform (intercom).
